The name Goose is in recognition of the Nene Goose. The Nene is the Hawaiian state bird. It is believed that it evolved from a group of Canada Geese that migrated thousands of years ago to the islands of Hawai'i and never left. They became the  smaller non-migratory birds that we see today. The name Goose is an homage to the connection I share with Hawai'i and Canada.
